NITJAM is a student organisation formed by a group of engineering students of National Institute of Technology, Jamshedpur under the patronage of Prof. Rajnish Srivastava, Director, N.I.T. Jamshedpur to pursue research & development in the field of automobiles.
The team is driven by our passion for automobiles & motor sports and aims to excel in motor sports and spread the passion for motor sports among students by participating in national and international events.
The team is a well knit unit with students from a number of branches joining forces. NITJAM is led by Amal R. Agrawal, a final year mechanical engineering student under the watchful eye of Dr. Sanjay, a highly knowledgeable professor of the Mechanical Engineering Department.
NITJAM will be competing against 75 colleges from across the country in Baja SAE ASIA 2010, which will be held at NATRAX in Pithampura, near Indore.
