  Academic Programmes and Courses offered
The Institute has semester pattern of Examination at UG and PG levels.

Under the Semester system, the teachers themselves set the mid-term and end-term question papers and evaluate them. They conduct quiz and class tests for teacher's evaluation. The mid-term examination carries 30 marks, teacher's evaluation 20 and the end term examinations carry 50 marks. The students are awarded letter grades from Excellent (Ex) to fail (F) depending on their overall performance. The Academic Section coordinates the over all examination. The results are assessed by either the Under Graduate Program Evaluation Commmittee (UGPEC) or the Post Graduate Program Evaluation Committee (PGPEC) and then sent to the Senate for approval.

The students have to maintain a CGPA of 6.0 to continue beyond their first year of study. Supplementary examinations are organized in the summer quarter.
